Wayne Rooney

I can't for the life of me understand why Birmingham are looking at appointing Rooney. For all he was a decent player it is hardly like he has done anything remarkable in management. Did poorly at Derby where he seemed to be given a free pass due to the financial problems but it was hardly like he had them punchign above their weight. Didn't really do anything of note at DC Utd. I wouldn't have wanted Leeds to have been interested in him when we were after a manager, and it has nothing to do with who he used to play for.
